Perfume label artwork checklist before factory printing.
Use this checklist before sending artwork for vinyl labels, clear PET labels, UV DTF transfers, nickel stickers, resin dome labels, metal plates, or packaging seals.
File setup
- Final artwork is supplied as AI, PDF, EPS, SVG, or high-resolution layered PSD.
- All fonts are outlined or included, and image resolution is at least 300 dpi at final print size.
- Dieline, cut line, bleed, safe zone, foil, varnish, white ink, and embossing layers are separated and clearly named.
- The artwork includes exact final label size in millimeters and quantity by SKU.
Print and finish notes
- Material is specified: vinyl, clear PET, UV DTF transfer, nickel sticker, resin dome, metal plate, or security seal.
- Finish is specified: matte, gloss, brushed metal, foil, embossing, debossing, resin dome, spot UV, or transparent.
- White ink underlay is marked for clear labels, dark glass, transparent bottles, and barcode areas.
- Barcode, INCI text, batch code, warning text, and legal copy have enough contrast and readable size.
Bottle and use conditions
- Bottle surface is described: flat, round, tapered, frosted, coated, oily, or textured.
- Alcohol, oil, humidity, shipping heat, and bathroom storage exposure are considered.
- Label width is checked against the real curve, not only the product rendering.
Approval process
- One approved physical sample is kept as the reorder reference.
- Supplier confirms which details can be repeated exactly and which may have production tolerance.
- Lighting conditions and final artwork file version are recorded for future reorder control.
