Perfume Security Stickers & VOID Labels: Complete Guide and Real Cases
Factory guide · Updated October 19, 2026 · 5 real production cases
A security sticker is not one fixed product. Its visual depth, background pattern, base color, and peel behavior can all be customized. This guide shows how to choose between 2D and 3D hologram effects, compare four tamper options, and prepare the right information for production.

The easiest way to tell them apart is to tilt the sticker: if it looks broadly similar from different viewing angles, it is a 2D effect. If the appearance changes strongly and different angles produce clearly different results, it is a 3D effect. The moving sample on the left and annotated sheet on the right show both types; red 2 and 3 mark each example.

2D: clean and direct
The result stays relatively similar from different angles. Logos, wording, serial numbers, or selected graphics commonly carry the holographic effect, making 2D suitable when brand recognition and readable information are the priority.
3D: deeper and more dynamic
The result changes significantly with the viewing angle. Special diffraction textures create stronger depth and movement, giving perfume and cosmetic packaging a more dramatic authentication feature.
Lighting matters: a hologram may look silver, gold, green, blue, or rainbow-colored at different angles. A still photograph shows one moment; the silent video shows the real movement more clearly.
Part 02 · Tamper Evidence
What should happen after the label is peeled?
Hologram appearance and tamper behavior are separate choices. Select the peel result for the package surface and evidence required.
1. Permanent film
The face material is not designed to break or leave a security message when peeled. Choose it when a holographic authentication look is needed but visible tamper evidence is not the main purpose.
2. VOID transfer
After removal, the applied surface shows repeated “VOID” text. This makes opening or replacement immediately visible and is a common one-time tamper-evident option.
3. Total transfer / full release
The face layer separates and the peeled label loses adhesion, so it cannot be applied back in its original condition. No deliberate word or pattern remains on the package.
4. Honeycomb transfer
Peeling reveals a honeycomb-style residue. It provides visible evidence similar to VOID transfer but uses a geometric pattern instead of letters.
Production test
Always test the selected adhesive and transfer effect on the actual bottle, box, cap, coated paper, plastic, glass, or metal surface before mass production.
Part 03 · Factory Recommendation
Recommended size and starting quantity
As a custom security-sticker manufacturer serving perfume companies across Asia, WOWSTICKER produces hologram authentication seals for perfume bottles, boxes, outer cartons, caps, and retail packaging.
Recommended diameter or comparable width1.5–4.5 cm
Typical custom MOQ1,000 pcs
Available directions2D / 3D
Our MOQ typically starts at 1,000 pieces, among the lower starting quantities available for this type of custom security sticker. Final MOQ and price depend on size, shape, hologram structure, peel effect, design count, and variable data such as serial numbers or QR codes.
Part 04 · Real Production Cases
From artwork to the real hologram effect
These factory cases show why the background pattern should be decided at the artwork stage. Options include repeated brand letters, radial rays, microtext, geometric lines, and other brand-specific patterns.
The 1.7 × 1.7 cm design uses the English brand name as a repeated security background. The main logo, “ORIGINAL” wording, and Arabic text remain prominent while the pattern adds another recognizable layer.

The Actual Dynamic Gold Effect
Movement under light reveals the changing brightness and color more accurately than a still image.
Case 02
Radial background · Silver and gold finishes
This design uses radiating lines instead of repeated letters; either background can follow the brand’s preferred style.

The Real Moving Light Effect
Radial lines amplify reflections: silver gives a cooler rainbow shift, while gold keeps a warmer base.
Case 03
LOVISA PERFUMES · Fine-line security pattern
The 15 × 20 mm artwork combines a fine-line spiral, brand name, and quality-seal wording. The image compares artwork, silver, and gold.
Case 04
Repeated logo pattern · Simple 2D gold hologram
This circular design repeats the logo on a clean background. Colors shift under light, but the composition stays similar across angles, making it a 2D effect.
Case 05
Circular brand badge · Layered English and Arabic artwork
The design layers a central deer emblem, Arabic and English brand elements, stars, circular border text, and a repeated “Original” background. The finished sheet shows that this dense badge layout remains recognizable under shifting holographic reflections.
Part 05 · FAQ
Common questions before ordering
How can I tell a 2D hologram sticker from a 3D hologram sticker?
Tilt the sticker under light. If the visual result stays broadly similar from different viewing angles, it is a 2D effect. If different angles produce clearly different visual results, it is a 3D effect.
Which tamper-evident peel effect should I choose?
Choose according to the evidence you need: permanent film, VOID transfer, total transfer, or honeycomb transfer. Test the selected structure on the real application surface before mass production.
What size and MOQ does WOWSTICKER recommend?
A practical size range is approximately 1.5 to 4.5 cm in diameter or comparable width. The typical custom MOQ is 1,000 pieces per design, subject to final specifications.
Can the hologram background use our brand letters or a radial pattern?
Yes. Repeated brand letters, radial rays, microtext, fine-line patterns, and geometric textures can all be considered at the artwork stage.
Can a peeled VOID sticker leave our own logo instead of the word VOID?
Standard materials normally use industry-standard VOID or geometric transfer patterns. A custom logo residue requires custom security material production from the raw-material stage, so it needs a much larger order and must be quoted separately.
